The scale will be visible through the window on the top of the slider.
This unit can be used for dedicated measurements, however,
it is really designed for comparing side-to-side as well as corner-to-corner.
This unit has an easy to read metric scale.
The centering guide is made for 10mm bolt heads, but also fits round Torx head bolts nicely.
One of the 8" pointers has a pin in it. This helps when using underbody jig holes.
The 3/8" connector is made of metal with nylon set screws so that you can adjust tighness as needed.
Try to avoid over-tightening the thumbscrew.
This tool has been built to rather tight tolerances and still be easy to use.
